Katrina Ortiz

Katrina has always believed that education has something to offer everyone and she’s been working to give back to education what it’s given to her throughout her life. Helping to facilitate others paths in education has led her to work with organizations in various roles within learning and development. Prior to joining Noodle Partners, Katrina worked to implement training workshops, design and develop learning programs, and develop professional trainers. She has also had the opportunity to help companies new to the U.S. transfer and translate their professional training materials to be more culturally and operationally appropriate. Her philosophy around learning design remains that people support what they can help to create and thus learner centered design principles are at the forefront of her thought process. In her academic background she has had the opportunity to attend Soka University of America where she worked to advocate and further the student programs department as well as champion curricular diversification. She completed a Bachelor of Arts in Integrated Educational Studies with a special emphasis in Business at Chapman University in Orange, CA in 2012. Most recently she completed a Masters of Arts in Education at University of Southern California in May of 2017.
