The program will launch in March 2021 and will prepare graduates to be socially conscious and data-driven contributors in their information management careers. The UW Information School (iSchool), now ranked #3 in Information Systems among library and information schools by US News and World Report, became an independent school in 2001, the same year it began offering the MSIM. It has since grown to become an important link connecting society with the information it needs.
